Oct 22 - A hotel in China's Dalian city has an unexpected guest - a wild deer stumbles into the hotel lobby in the early hours, startling staff and guests.

China's state broadcaster CCTV said a sika deer stumbled into the hotel at around 5 a.m. local time (2000 GMT Monday), and headed to a little pond in the lobby.

Zookeepers were eventually called out and the animal was tranquillized before being put in the back of a truck to be released back into the wild.
