Nov. 15 - African's keen to explore business opportunities in the East are moving to China to live and work.
Many Africans see China as a land of opportunity. An estimated quarter of a million Africans are said to be living in China and that figure is expected to rise.
At a China-Africa summit in Egypt last week, China's premier Wen Jiabao offered $10 billion in concessional loans over the next three years, saying that China was a "true and trusted friend" of the continent and its people.
The aid offer is double that unveiled by President Hu Jintao at the last summit in Beijing in 2006, as China aims to boost a relationship which politically goes back decades and is now economically booming, to the discomfort of some in the West.
