Argentines hold islands vigil

Apr. 2 - Thousands of Argentines turn out to mark the 25th anniversary of the Falkland (Malvinas) Islands war with a vigil.

They gathered at a monument in Buenos Aires dedicated to the Argentine soldiers and sailors who lost their lives. Veterans associated with the group organising the vigil laid a wreath at the monument. A small group of veterans not associated with the organising group chanted anti-government slogans and accused authorities of forgetting about them.
