Apr. 6 - British sailors and marines held by Iran for nearly two weeks say they were subjected to intense psychological pressure by their captors.
The group says they were bound and blindfolded and held in solitary confinement. They allege they were lined up while weapons were cocked behind them. The sailors and marines added they were threatened with seven years in prison unless they confessed to straying into Iranian waters, an accusation they deny. Faye Turney, the only female member of the British crew was singled out for special treatment, including being told she was alone and her colleagues had left Iran.
Andrew Potter reports.
