May. 8 - Throwing water, books and newspapers at each other, Taiwanese politicians fight over an electoral reform bill.
A brawl broke out in the Taiwanese parliament as an electoral reform bill was being read out.
Members from the rival parties, the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and the Nationalist Kuomintang Party (KMT) attempted to prevent the legislative speaker Wang Jin Pyng from reading through the articles in the bill.
The politicans pushed and shoved each other, throwing water and hurling books through the air.
DPP legislators have accused the KMT for placing the bill before the annual budget proposal to deliberately make things difficult for the ruling party.
Other than shoes, legislators have also hurled lunchboxes at each other in previous sessions.
