Pilgrims pray for missing girl

May 13 - More than half a million Christian pilgrims have prayed for the missing British girl Madeleine MCCann who disappeared 10 days ago.

They celebrating the 90th anniversary of the first appearance of the Virgin Mary at the Sanctuary of Fatima. The turnout was the highest since Pope John Paul II visited the shrine in 1982. Some pilgrims carried pictures of the missing girl, who disappeared from her bed at an Algarve resort 10 days ago.
