Cutty Sark ablaze
May. 21 - Fire has torn through the 19th-century tea clipper, Cutty Sark, in London.
Fire has torn through one of Britain's most well-known maritime treasures, the Cutty Sark.
The 19th-century ship was the world's last surviving tea clipper.
Cutty Sark had been closed for major renovation work, and with about half the ship removed from the site, it's hoped a full restoration is still possible.
