Japan PM Abe Faces Heat
May 29 - Japanese media criticized Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, warning the suicide of a scandal-tainted Cabinet minister and pension furor could cause national election defeat.
The suicide of farm minister Toshikatsu Matsuoka, hours before he was to face a grilling in parliament over a series of funding scandals, was the latest setback for the Abe Cabinet, already reeling from diving support levels.
