Lugar breaks with Bush on Iraq

Jun. 26 - Republican U.S. Senator Richard Lugar says he does not believe the U.S.’s current military actions in Iraq were working.

The sight of a White House loyalist pressing for a course change in Iraq is rare enough. But Senator Lugar's speech may send an important signal to other Republicans- who have been steadfast in supporting the President's Iraq strategy.
