Models hit the London catwalk

Sep 16 - The first day of London fashion week begins with Ben de Lisi showing off his dazzling designs

Jet setting women and nomadic tribes were the inspiration behind two of the opening shows at London fashion week.

American designer Ben de Lisi showcased designs made for the woman who frequents glamorous destinations. He showcased geometric patterns like triangles, rectangles and circles on his clothes.

Deep purples and reds and greys were prominent colours on the catwalk for Turkish born designer Bora Aksu.

Backstage a buffet of healthy food and fresh juices were on hand for models. This came a day after the release of the final report of the Model Health Inquiry, which stopped short of banning Size Zero models.
