Sep 28 - Police and troops in Myanmar come in for a hail of abuse as they try to stop mass protests in Yangon.
Crowds of people clapped and shouted at security forces attempting to stop further mass protests against Myanmar's military regime.
Potentially deadly games of cat and mouse went on for hours around the barbed-wire barriers in a city terrified of a repeat of 1988, when the army killed an estimated 3,000 people when they crushed the last major pro-democracy uprising.
