Oct. 12 - Former U.S. Vice President and the U.N. climate panel have been jointly awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee chose Gore and the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to share the prize.
