Bush seeks more war funding
Oct 22 - President Bush asked Congress for another $42 billion dollars to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Democratic lawmakers have already indicated they would not even consider the war funding request until early 2008, and that they wanted to link it to a plan to bring U.S. combat troops home.
