Kasparov detained during rally
Nov 23 - Former chess champ-turned-opposition leader Gary Kasparov is among those held during an anti-Kremlin protest.
Thousands turned out for the rally in central Moscow organised by Kasparov's Other Russia umbrella group to protest against what they see as President Vladimir Putin's destruction of personal liberties and freedom of the press.
