Dec. 14 - South Korean scientists say they have succeeded in cloning cats with a special protein to make them fluorescent.
South Korean scientists said they succeeded to clone cats possessing red fluorescence protein (RFP) under ultraviolet rays. A team lead by Kong Il-Keun, an animal cloning expert at Gyeongsang National University, produced two Turkish Angora cats with manipulated RFP in early 2007.
