Jan. 2 - Kenya's finance minister says the country's currency remains "in control" after ethnic clashes following a disputed presidential eleciton.
But the Kenyan shilling has fallen to a six-week low against the dollar. The opening of the Kenyan foreign exchange market was also delayed. It's feared ongoing unrest could damage Kenya's economy and drive away foreign investment.
