Kibaki offers talks after AU meeting
Jan 9 - Kenya's President offers a direct meeting with his opposition rival amid eruptions of renewed violence.
President Mwai Kibaki made the offer of direct talks with Raila Odinga who has declined a face-to-face meeting on Friday saying it would be a sideshow without the presence of an international mediator.
