Jan. 15 - An explosion in Beirut on Tuesday damaged a diplomatic vehicle, wounding a passenger and killing at least three other people, security sources said.
A security source told Reuters that the car belonged the the U.S. embassy in Beirut, but no U.S. personnel were among the dead. Lebanon has seen more than 30 explosions in the past three years, many targeting anti-Syrian politicians and journalists. Last week a roadside bomb wounded two U.N. peacekeepers in southern Lebanon.
