Jan. 19 - Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney is the projected winner of the Nevada Republican caucus.
Following on the heels of a strong win in Michigan, Romney hopes a win in Nevada would give him momentum heading into later contests. Attention now moves to South Carolina where Romney has been battling Fred Thompson for third place in the polls. Lindsay Claiborn reports.
