(00:57) Report

Jan. 24 - The two rivals in Kenya's political crisis meet for a historic handshake brokered by former U.N. boss Kofi Annan.

It was the first time President Mwai Kibaki and opposition leader Raila Odinga had met since a disputed election which sparked violence across the country. They pledged to seek an end to weeks of unrest that has killed nearly 700 people.
