Feb. 8 - Opinions are divided over the Archbishop of Canterbury's comments on sharia law.
The Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams said on Thursday (Feb 7th) that the introduction in Britain of some aspects of sharia law was unavoidable. In London some members of the public shared his view while others were strongly against them. The issue of integrating Britain's 1.8 million Muslims has been widely debated since July 2005, when four British Islamists carried out suicide bombings on London's transport network, killing 52 people.
