Feb. 13 - Madonna's best known as a singer and is occasionally an actress, but now she's turned her hand to film directing.
Her directorial debut, "Filth & Wisdom", premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, with many journalists who saw it a press screening saying it was better than they expected. The film follows the Ukrainian immigrant "A.K", played by Eugene Hutz from the band Gogol Bordello, as he tries to make it big with his gypsy punk band. Madonna says she enjoyed directing "Filth & Wisdom" so much that this film is unlikely to be her last.
