Yao out for the season
Feb. 26 - Chinese basketball star Yao Ming is out for the season with a foot injury, putting his Olympic hopes in jeopardy.
The 7-foot-6 Yao has helped increase the NBA's popularity in China, the world's most populated country, since he joined the NBA as the top pick in the 2002 draft.
