Mar. 10 - A fierce storm rushing in the from Atlantic has brought disruption to southern England and Wales.
Gusting winds have brought down trees, ripping tiles off roofs and damaging power lines, cutting off electricity supplies to parts of south Wales and Cornwall.
There was disruption for rail commuters on Monday morning and a number of severe flood warnings are in place in advance of high tides due to peak around midday (Monday 10th March).
With winds of up to 85 miles an hour forecast at the height of the storm, flood defences have been strengthened in a number of places.
