Attempt to extinguish Olympic flame

(01:54) Rough Cut

Apr. 6 - Anti-China protesters disrupt the Olympic torch relay as it makes its way through London.

Campaigners protesting against China's crackdown on pro-independence activists in Tibet lined sections of the route and one tried to grab the torch from TV presenter Konnie Huq but was wrestled to the ground by police.

A protester armed with a fire extinguisher let it off as the flame was being transferred between runners.

Several British celebrities dropped out of the torch ceremony in a show of unity with Tibetan independence activists or to take a stand against China's human rights record.
