Kidnapped journalist freed
Apr. 14 - The Iraqi military says its forces have freed a British journalist Richard Butler who was kidnapped in Basra.
Butler, a photographer on assignment for the U.S. network CBS, appeared to be in good health.
He was taken by gunmen, along with his Iraqi translator, from a hotel in Basra in February 2008.
Speaking after his release, Butler said he was "grateful for everyone's efforts."
