Rocket hits BBC Baghdad office

(01:18) Rough Cut

May 9 - The UK broadcaster the BBC says a rocket hit its office in Baghdad damaging the building but leaving its occupants unhurt.

Patrick Howse, the BBC bureau chief in the Iraqi capital, said the rocket left a hole around 1 metre by 1.5 metres in the roof of the office.

Militants have stepped up rocket and mortar attacks in Baghdad in the past month since the government launched a crackdown on Shi'ite militias.
