Icahn launches Yahoo proxy battle
May 15 - Billionaire Carl Icahn wants to force Yahoo to re-open takeover talks with Microsoft.
Icahn has criticized Yahoo for the breakdown in talks. He has accumulated 59 million shares of Yahoo, and put together a 10 member dissident board slate that he plans to propose at the company's July 3rd annual meeting.
