May 16 - Democratic presidential front-runner Sen. Barack Obama responded to comments made by President Bush in Israel Thursday, where the President compared calls for negotiating with Iran with the "appeasement" of Hitler.
Speaking in Watertown, South Dakota, Obama accused Bush of "exactly the kind of appalling attack that's divided our country and that alienates us from the world."
He also said if President Bush and presumptive Republican nominee Sen. John McCain "want to have a debate about protecting the United States of America," Obama would win.
