Prayers for China's lost souls
May 18 - Wellwishers in Beijing gather to pray for the victims of the powerful earthquake that struck China earlier in the week.
The country is due to start three days of national mourning. Rescue efforts are continuing in the devastated south-western province of Sichuan. Miraculously some trapped survivors are still being found days after the 7.9 magnitude quake struck.
