Kennedy released from hospital
May 21 - Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy leaves a Boston hospital after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
Kennedy is the youngest of President John Kennedy's three brothers, and he's considered one of Washington's most effective senators. It's unclear whether his illness might force him to resign.
