Obama defends talks with Cuba
May 23 - Barack Obama defends his support for greater engagement with Cuba without any preconditions.
In advocating such talks with Castro, Obama is breaking with some of the orthodox political positions of the Cuban exile community -- a powerful voting bloc in Florida- one of several key battleground states in the general election.
