Luxury goods beat the crunch?
May 27 - Asian business woman Sung-Joo Kim opens the first London boutique of her luxury leathergoods brand MCM.
The move comes just days after Swiss luxury goods maker Richemont said it met expectations with its full-year profit and a spokesman for the recent luxury fair in Munich claimed that the market is weathering the credit crunch.
