June 12 - Asian stocks slid on Wednesday with fresh warning sounds on inflation upsetting investors across the region.
Japan's Nikkei fell to a 2-week low with major exporters down on worries inflation will slow the global economy. China stocks tapped a 14-month low.
Surging oil prices continues to be a key factor in pushing up inflation across the globe. Crude prices soared to near fresh record highs in New York trade, but slipped slightly in Asia.
