Actress and dancer Cyd Charisse died at her Los Angeles home at the age of 86.
Known for her long legs and dancing ability, the musical star Cyd Charisse, died from heart failure at her LA home.
Starring in musicals opposite on screen greats, Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, Cyd Charisse's big break was in 1952 when she starred with Kelly in the singing and dancing sensation, Singin' in the Rain.
Charisse's spokesman Gene Schwam said she died early in the morning. He called her "a loving and gracious woman throughout her life."
