Jun 29 - Mongolians dressed in their best have been voting in the country's fifth parliamentary elections.
More than half of the sparsely populated country are nomads living in the vast grasslands where unemployment and inflation are growing issues.
Worries remain that a newly introduced voting system, in which voters can select up to four candidates, may result in confusion in a country which is hoping for strong leadership.
Mongolia's previous elections resulted in a hung parliament, leading to several failed coalitions.
