Jul. 5 - Venus Williams survives fierce onslaught from younger sister Serena to win her fifth Wimbledon singles title.

Venus Williams finally subdued her younger sister 7-5 6-4 to win her fifth Wimbledon singles title on Saturday.

In the seventh all-Williams grand slam final, the 28-year-old Venus fought back from a break down in both sets to trump Serena in a high-quality contest on a windswept Centre Court.

SOUNDBITE: Tennis player, Venus Williams, saying (English): "But I mean its unbelievable especially after some of the injuries or a lot of the injuries I've had to go through. It's so rewarding to perform here."
