Mideast hopes at France talks
Jul 13 - The Israeli and Palestinian leaders express optimism over peace prospects on the sidelines of a Paris summit of EU and Mediterranean nations.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas are among 43 leaders at the summit, which aims to launch a regional grouping, the Union for the Mediterranean.
