Aviation rejects green pariah status
Jul. 17 - The giants of commercial aviation unite at the Farnborough Airshow to defend their environmental credentials against a green onslaught.
Speaking at the world famous industry event in southern England, they reiterated their commitment to wean aircraft off kerosene fuel in favour of second generation biofuels.
However, they warned the mass introduction of viable alternatives remains some years away.
