Rice: No prediction on Iran

Jul. 17 - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she does not know if Iran will respond positively to latest major power offer for Iran to suspend nuclear work.

Earlier this week, Rice decided to send the third-ranking official in the State Department, William Burns, to join a meeting with Iran's nuclear negotiator along with the EU foreign policy chief as well as envoys from China, Russia, France, Britain and Germany.
