Tibet protestors detained in Beijing
Aug. 06 - Foreign protesters have been detained for displaying "Tibet will be Free" banners in Beijing.
Chinese State media said the foreigners were taken away by police for displaying the 'Free Tibet' banner near Olympic venue.
The Xinhua news agency ran this report "Foreigners taken away by police for displaying 'Free Tibet' banner near Olympic venue." It did not describe their nationality or any other details.
The Olympic Games will open on Friday (August 8).
