Posh Spice's revolutionary roots

Aug 7 - From communism to consumerism - a historian says Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is a descendant of a German comrade of Karl Marx.

Beckham, born Victoria Adams and now wife of soccer player David Beckham, is the great-great-great-granddaughter of 19th century revolutionary and artist Carl Heinrich Pfaender.

Hans Mueller, a historian from the southwestern German city of Heilbronn, says he was researching the life of a local man when he made the surprise discovery.
