President Bush arrives in Beijing
Aug. 7 - U.S. President George W. Bush arrived in Beijing to attend the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The President, First Lady Laura Bush and their daughter Barbara walked down the steps off Air Force One together, where they got a red-carpet greeting from Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and others, and then drove away in a motorcade.
