Israel clears troops in TV killing

Aug 13 - Israeli soldiers who fired on Reuters cameraman Fadel Shana will not face legal action after an investigation found their actions were justified.

An investigation into the death of Reuters cameraman Fadel Shana has concluded that Israeli troops could not see whether he was holding a camera or a weapon when they fired a shell that killed him.

The 24-year-old came under fire while filming tanks in the Gaza Strip four months ago.

Reuters has said it is disappointed with the decision and will be considering legal action.
