Banned for doping
Aug. 15 - A North Korean shooting double medallist and a Vietnamese artistic gymnast have been banned from the Beijing Olympics, failing drug tests.
North Korea's Kim Jong-su won silver in the men's 50 metre pistol and a bronze in the men's 10m air pistol shooting. Vietnamese artistic gymnast Thi Ngan Thuong Doo finished out of the medals, but tested positive for a drug masking agent.
