Oil prices continue to slide
Aug. 15 - Potential weakness in global demand pushed down prices, with crude oil continuing its downward spiral.
Meanwhile, consumer confidence nudged a bit higher in early August. In the Reuters/University of Michigan Survey of Consumers, confidence improved thanks to some relief at the pump.
