Georgia 'pull-out' starts

Aug 18 - Moscow's general staff says Russian troops have started to withdraw from Georgia in accordance with a peace plan.

Russia says it has started to pull troops out of Georgia despite reports which suggest they are moving deeper into Georgian territory. The announcement was made after the Russian President pledged to abide by the terms of the ceasefire plan to end fighting in Georgia and its breakaway province of South Ossetia.
