Aug 22 - A Russian court rejects - on grounds of bad behaviour - Mikhail Khordokovsky's appeal for early release from prison.
The 45-year-old former head of oil giant YUKOS - who's serving an eight-year sentence for tax evasion and fraud - has always maintained his innocence, claiming he is the victim of corrupt officials under former President Vladimir Putin who were trying to carve up his business empire and feared his political ambitions.
