Praise from IOC President
Aug 24 - International Olympic Commitee President Jacques Rogge described the Beijing Olympics as an "impeccable operation".
President Jacques Rogge spoke hours before the closing ceremony on Sunday (August 24) also highlighting the performances of the athletes.
Rogge has long defended the IOC's decision to award the Games to China and believes it will have lasting positive effects on the country.
