Gustav heads for the Gulf of Mexico

Aug 27 - Tropical Storm Gustav drifted from Haiti and the Dominican Republican where 22 people were killed and the storm triggered floods and mudslides.

Authorities in Cuba began evacuating residents as the storm pressed on towards the Gulf of Mexico.

"I opened the door and went out because I wanted to get outside because everything started to be destroyed and the mudslide was dragging everything."
